Position Summary

We are seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. This role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, completing repairs, coordinating with parts and service teams, and delivering quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned repairs efficiently and accurately according to factory and dealership standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and complete authorized repairs.
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and manage parts tagging, saving, or returning as required.
  • Communicate with service advisors regarding additional work or repair delays.
  • Document repairs comprehensively and maintain accurate records.
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs resolve customer concerns.
  • Ensure workmanship meets quality standards through final inspections.
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay current with factory technical bulletins.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with all safety and housekeeping policies.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations related to service and repair work.

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Michigan Mechanic Certification.
  • Experience with Infiniti vehicles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to follow workplace rules and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Strong customer service focus and teamwork skills.
