Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Office Scanner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scanning documents, images, and other materials into digital files using specialized equipment. Your work will ensure that important files are accurately captured and easily accessible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scan documents into electronic format, including sorting, counting, and page separation.
  • File paper documents into designated storage systems.
  • Enter data into computer databases and maintain records of stored files.
  • Review documents for accuracy and readiness before filing.
  • Monitor inventory of paper stocks and scanning supplies.
  • Maintain confidentiality by following office procedures.
  • Identify and correct scanning errors by rescanning as necessary.
  • Perform scanner maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized at the end of each shift.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing 25-50 pounds.
  • Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
